From Knoxville
I 40E to Waynesville, NC exit 19/74 to Sylva
Take US-23 exit ramp towards NC-107/Cullowhee/WNC Univ.
Drive 1.4 miles (Left at the 2nd signal) to 107S.
Turn left on 107S Continue on 107S for approx. 24 miles Continue on 107S for approx. 24 miles to the only traffic signal in Cashiers. At the light, turn left onto Hwy 64E for approximately two miles. After you pass the Ingles shopping center on your left, you will begin to go down a hill passing Cedar Creek Racquet Club on the left. At the bottom of the hill, turn left on Cedar Creek Road. Climb the hill for approx. 2.3 miles.
At the summit of the mountain, you will come to an intersection. Turn right onto Breedlove Road. towards Panthertown Valley National Forest..
Continue for a 1.2 miles, passing the Fowler family tree farms. The second water feature on the left is Wolf Lake (directly across from the High Hemlock community sign). The Chinquapin Office is located just above the lake.
