Chinquapin Skins Game
The "Champions for Charity" Chinquapin Skins Game Brings Four PGA Champion Tour Players to Cashiers for "Nature's Walk" Grand Opening
Monday, July 21, 2008
Four PGA Champions Tour players will host a Golf Clinic at Chinquapin and then face off in a Dramatic Skins Game at the grand opening of "Nature's Walk" Golf Course.
PGA Champions Tour Players
- Morris Hatalsky (Course Designer)
- Graham Marsh
- Don Pooley
- Dave Stockton
The exciting "skins game" format pits players in a type of match play in which each hole has a set value (usually in money or points). The player who wins the hole is said to win the "skin" and whatever that skin is worth. Skins games are usually more dramatic than standard match play.
The tour players will host a Golf clinic for attendees at Chinquapin's newly opened state-of-the-art Golf Learning Center. The golf clinic begins at 11 am, followed by a box lunch. The Skins Game tees off at noon.
The cost for the full day of golfing activities, including lunch and the clinic, is $25.
