Mark Carruth and Amy Young, who head up the talented management team, have been building on the plateau since 2002, and have a building history of more than 30 years in the Southeast. They have a solid reputation for integrity, and they understand the huge responsibility involved in building the future home for a family or individual.

The Carruth Homes team is committed to providing every home and homeowner with unparalleled attention to detail. The Carruth difference lies in the importance placed on communication, listening, planning, timeliness and value.

Because of this philosophy, Chinquapin was a natural fit for Carruth Homes. With large lots and few homesites each home is created based on the natural attributes of the land allowing Mark and Amy to craft a unique home for each owner.

Michael Swilley Design Group, Inc.

President and Senior Designer, Michael Swilley has two main goals in each project he undertakes: help perfect a client's vision of their home design and instill his creative knowledge and imagination to create a home, timeless in both function and style.

Michael Swilley Design Group is a small and personable design firm. Remaining a smaller firm has allowed Michael to "stay connected and involved with the design of each project" from beginning to end. 'Often with a large design firm, a client will meet with the main Designer or Architect only to be passed to someone else to design their home. I want to be involved through the entire design of the project and give the client my full attention and imagination. That philosophy has served me well over the years with a long list of satisfied clients. After 18 years, I still do all of the initial client meetings, creative design and planning of the project before involving my staff to assemble the final drawings".

Having designed high-end homes all over the Southeast, from Cashiers to Destin to Williamsburg in a variety of architectural vernaculars, many for a who's who list of professional athletes and entertainers, Swilley says he is "blessed to have a job that allows him to be creative and work with many interesting people and one that, in many respects, changes and evolves every day".
